Our high impact Polystyrene is a great choice for Retail Signs, Display Boards, Point of Purchase Display, and Exhibit Material and Signage. The Duratex White Polystyrene is produced with a black blockout middle layer, making it the opacity you turn to when a true blockout is needed at a lower gage thickness. It's the perfect product for double sided signs, window graphics or any situation where your graphics could be flooded with backlighting. The smooth surface is formulated for perfect printing of your images and message. Our board prints are printed directly onto white 0.040 white Polystyrene and finished with an optional choice of high gloss lamination, matte lamination or dry erase lamination for long life. White Polystyrene offers the vibrancy and high quality of PVC Boards and Gatorboard printing with an added high-impact resistance. Our Polystyrene boards can be custom cut to any size and printed on one or two sides. They are perfect for outdoor or indoor signage, exhibits, and displays. The durable long-lasting surface prevents moisture from penetrating allowing the printed images to look vibrant and retain images in high quality.

0.020 White Polystyrene
A practical solution for indoor and outdoor signs or posters on a heavy stock, our 0.020 (1/64") White Polystyrene prints consist of a durable premium printable three layer consisting of virgin cap layers with opaque black core. The board itself resists denting, bending and crushing because of the extra dense black core.
0.040 White Polystyrene
A cost effective solution for long term indoor and outdoor signs, our 0.040 (3/64") White Polystyrene prints consist of a durable premium printable three layer consisting of virgin cap layers with opaque black core. The board itself resists denting, bending and crushing because of the extra dense black core.
0.060 White Polystyrene
A thicker solution for long term indoor and outdoor signs, our 0.060 (1/16") White Polystyrene prints consist of a durable premium printable three layer consisting of virgin cap layers with opaque black core. The board itself resists denting, bending and crushing because of the extra dense black core.
0.080 White Polystyrene
Our heaviest solution for short or long term polystyrene indoor and outdoor signs and prints, our 0.080 (5/64") White Polystyrene prints consist of a durable premium printable three layer consisting of virgin cap layers with opaque black core. The board itself resists denting, bending and crushing because of the extra dense black core.

Lamination
For an extended resistance on weather and abrasion, our Polystyrene comes with your choice of High Gloss, Semi Gloss UV Lamination, or Dry Erase Lamination. Lamination also adds a moisture barrier that helps to prevent bowing and warping. Laminated with Pressure Sensitive High Gloss, Semi Gloss or Dry Erase Film. UV Lamination helps in keeping materials as good as new for many years, increasing the durability as well as preserving the color.
3 mil Gloss and Matte UV Lamination: Lamination with a shiny or "gloss" or "matte" finish, excellent for laminating the Aluminum DiBond surfaces. Our 3 mil UV pressure-sensitive Calendared Vinyl laminate has a 3-year outdoor durability rating. Laminate comes in a range of sizes from 12" x 12" to a huge 54" x 100' (feet).
1 mil Dry Erase Lamination: Lamination with a gloss or "gloss" finish that can be marked up and erased with dry erase markers. This laminate is primarily for indoor use, and an excellent choice for Aluminum DiBond surfaces that will be used for writing on and wiping off. This laminate comes in a range of sizes from 12" x 12" to a huge 54" x 100' (feet).
Custom Contour Cutting
This product can be contour cut to a special shape per your design layout. Enhance your signs with a unique shape, and make your signs stand apart from the crowd!! The shapes for die cutting are nearly limitless—circles, squares, holes, curves, stair-stepped, rounded corners, sharp points, just to name a few.

Grommets
Grommets are round, metal hole reinforcements. For our grommets we use Silver Nickel Grommets Size #2 (3/4" outside diameter) with a hole diameter of 3/8". Grommets are available for top corners only, bottom corners only or all 4 corners only.
Rounded Corners
Rounded corners use extra finishing to convert regular square corners into rounded corners. We offer 1/2" rounded corners on all for corners.
If you prefer rounded corners on only 1, 2, or 3 corners, please note it in the additional instructions section when placing your order.
Holes Drilled
Drilled Holes are an alternative to Grommets. Holes are drilled with a hole diameter of 1/4". Drilled holes are available for top corners only, bottom corners only, all 4 corners, center top and bottom edges or center on the side edges.
If you prefer custom holes drilled, please note it in the additional instructions section when placing your order.
Explanation of Turnaround Time
Turnaround times begin when the proof is approved. Turnaround time starts next day for proofs approved after 11:00 a.m. (PST). All times are based on standard business days Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays. Please note that turnaround time does not include shipping or mailing time. You may select from available production turnaround times and your preferred shipping time as you place your order. Order cutoff time is 10:30 a.m. (PST).
Our products are the same great quality for every turnaround time we offer.
Note: Although we make every possible effort to turn jobs around in the estimated times offered, your job may require more time due to unforeseeable or uncontrollable circumstances or finishing services added onto the job. We will not credit customers or give discounts if a job runs past the estimated turnaround time. Turnaround times are an estimate, not a guarantee!

Large Format Quantity

PDF stands for Portable Document Format. This template can be imported into: InDesign, Quark Express, Illustrator, Corel Draw, and many other content creation programs.
JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group and is a basic raster file format. This template is recommended for Photoshop.
EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript. This template is recommended for advanced Illustrator users only.

File Preparation
In order to ensure your files are print-ready, we recommend that you upload them in PDF format. When you generate a print-ready PDF, your computer will use the settings in Adobe Acrobat Distiller or any other PDF generating programs you may use. Please make sure that these are set properly before generating your PDF file. Click here to see our preferred PDF settings.
We also accept .JPG (JPEG), .EPS and .TIF (TIFF) file types, however PDF is the preferred format.
Check your file to make sure it meets our file creation guidelines. This will help speed up the production of your project and give your printed piece the best results.
- Use the CMYK colorspace (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK). These are industry standard printing colors. CMYK colors are different than RGB (Red, Green, Blue), which are used to display colors on your screen.
- Use a minimum resolution of 300 dpi for image files.
- All fonts need to be outlined or embedded. For more information on fonts, please Click Here
- Specify trim area with crop marks. (Don't place crop marks inside the work area.) For more information on crop marks, please Click Here
- Artwork should have 1/8" (0.125") bleed extending past the trim line. This is to prevent minor cutting variations from leaving unintended results at the trim edge. For more information on bleed, please Click Here

Bleed and Safe Area
We require that you extend any images that run up to the trim line a minimum of 1/8" (0.125") past the trim line to create "bleed". Depending on what program you use to create your file, this may or may not change the total image area of your file. Programs like Photoshop that do not allow the creation of "bleed" or the addition of crop marks will require an image area that is 1/4" (0.25") larger than your desired final overall image area in both dimensions.
Safe Area is the 1/8" (0.125") area inside the trim line. Do not put critical information or images within the Safe Area. This is to prevent minor cutting variations from leaving unintended results at the trim edge. If you choose to make less than this minimum clearance, we will NOT be responsible for items that are cut off in this area.

Proofs and File Check
- Online PDF Proof: You will be sent a link to view your proof via email. Please keep in mind that this is only a proof for content and positioning; the color on your screen may vary from the color of your final product, depending on your monitor and viewing conditions.
- Hard Copy Proof: The Hard Copy Proof can either be picked up on-site or shipped to you. Please keep in mind that this is a proof for content and positioning and is not printed on your actual job stock. Color may vary slightly when printed on the stock you ordered. When ordering a Hard Copy Proof, you will receive a complimentary Online PDF Proof, as well.
- No Proof, Run As-Is: This option is for the industry professional who is certain their project is ready to hit the press and does not require the additional security of a proof.
File Check:
If our prepress department sees anything questionable with your file, we will contact you via email with our concerns. Should prepress email you, please note that your job is not considered fully submitted until you respond to this email. This should be factored into your turnaround time.
Please Note: The charge for our technical team to review your file when first submitted is included in the price of your order. If they note technical concerns with your file, they may email you with their concerns so you can upload a corrected file. If subsequent uploads still contain errors, you may be charged an additional prepress fee to review your file again.

Graphic Design Fees
Our Graphic Design Services are based on the following fee structure:
- $90.00/hour
— Artwork design revisions, alterations and changes; 15 minute ($22.50) minimum.
— New design; 30 minute ($45.00) minimum. - $3.00 — Additional PDF Proofs per PDF page (i.e. Additional 12 page proof would be $36.00).
- $5.00 — Additional Digital Printed Proofs ( per 8.5" X 11", per side ).
- $10.00 — Re-RIP of any file. (Multi-page products like catalogs subject to higher rates)

Fantastic service !! Had to print a 36x48 poster for a research conference last minute and couldn’t find anywhere that would have it done faster than a week. As usual, Mike and ASAP came through for us - the job was printed, shipped and arrived the next morning before most people have had their morning coffee. We have found that they are quicker and more cost effective than other printers we have used - even with overnight shipping cost to our other offices throughout CA.
